This feature has been added to many dashboards and related screens in CU*BASE, with plans for further expansion in the future. Dashboards with the PDF option can be accessed from many menus in CU*BASE including the Management Dashboards, “Knowing Your Member,” Marketing, and Teller & Cash Analysis Tools menus.

Just click a new PDF icon (to the left of the existing Excel export icon) and CU*BASE will create a PDF in Adobe format containing all the data and graphs you see on the screen. (You must first purchase and install the licensed iText software on your computer.) |
The CU*BASE side of the PDF feature is already in production and is activated. Credit unions, however, will need to puchase licenses and install a software product called iText Sharp on each computer. Credit unions will work directly with iText Software Corp to purchase licenses. CU*Answers will handle any issues relating to the CU*BASE display of the PDFs. iText is responsible for anything related to the installation or performance of the iTextSharp software.

Credit unions can download the iText5.0.6 version of iText Sharp via http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/itextsharp/itextsharp/iTextSharp-5.0.6/itextsharp-5.0.6-dll.zip?r=&ts=1323713174&use_mirror=superb-sea2
(Select to download the .dll of this version.) This will download a zipped file containing the itextsharp.dll file. Each computer viewing the PDF Exports will need to have this file (.dll) copied to its C:\CUBASE\GOLD folder.
· IMPORTANT! Be sure to unzip the file before copying it to your C:\ drive. Then copy the unzipped files to your C:\ drive.
· NOTE: You may need to restart your GOLD session after the install.
