A Note from Network Services: Extended Lead Times on Hardware Orders

Extended hardware lead times are affecting nearly all hardware orders.  Do not delay ordering equipment for your network projects.

CU*Answers Network Services is advising clients to not delay placing equipment orders for their upcoming projects.

Vendors and manufacturers are experiencing extreme supply chain delays and volatility across all product categories that are pushing delivery times out several months if not to the end of the calendar year.

Delays are affecting printers, scanners, switches, sig pads, routers, PCs, laptops, servers, UPSes, data storage units, and more.  For instance, we are aware Cisco has announced they are sold out for the remainder of 2022.

While CNS is doing all it can to source equipment or recommend available substitutes, in many cases alternative products may not be available in a timely fashion.  CNS is strongly urging clients to order equipment well before it is needed for your project.  We will bill you only after the product ships, but it will hold your place in line with the vendor.
