CU*Answers, the 100% credit union-owned, data processing CUSO, recently completed a report which details all Client News communication series currently in rotation. This report, compiled by Writing Team Communications Coordinator Andrew MacMillan, accounts for all Client News communications that are sent with some degree of regularity. The report does not account for emails that are only sent once or a limited number of times before a send schedule has concluded.
The report organizes email series by subject matter and focus, with categories including marketing and promotional communications, announcements for webinars and special events, resource materials, release and rollover announcements, general information emails, as well as seasonal communication series (such as invitations to the annual CU*Answers Leadership Conference, the Proving the Data Strategies series hosted by Asterisk Intelligence, and year-end deadline reminders). Each communication series also includes indication of how frequently emails are sent out (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually, etc.) as well as which team(s) or department(s) within CU*Answers each communication is attributed to/associated with.
This report can be updated as new long-term communications series are brought into regular rotation or when existing communication series are retired. The report will be presented to the CU*Answers executive council this spring and can serve as a helpful resource for teams seeking to implement new communication strategies.
