CU*Answers, the 100% credit union-owned, data processing CUSO, recently created a report detailing all Client News communications in the “Did You Know?” series. Launched by Technical Writer Alycia Meyers in 2020, the Did You Know? email series spotlights helpful hints and tips on ways that credit union staff can make the most of CU*BASE tools. Previous emails in the series have discussed how credit unions can set up skip-a-pay options for weekly loans, how to activate a credit card cash back program, using text banking to determine account balances, among many other topics.
This report, compiled by Writing Team Communications Coordinator Andrew MacMillan, includes a list of all Did You Know? emails sent between January 2020 and April 2022. The report details all topics that have been used with previous emails in the series as well as points out information relevant to the volume of emails sent within each calendar year. Of particular note in this last section is the fact that eleven Did You Know? emails were sent out during 2020, with several of these occurring in the spring, immediately following the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic as well as CU*Answers’ emphasis on remote work support options in many of client-facing communications at that time.
This report will continue to be updated as new Did You Know? emails are sent out. Additional data will be drawn from the report year-over-year, allowing for the Writing Team to plan out additional topics for 2022 and beyond.
