As of this morning, February 7th, we have implemented a change to cash back memos in Xpress Teller. Previously, ‘check cashed’ memos would be written in Xpress Teller whenever an outside check or an inhouse check was taken in, even if that check was deposited into an account.
Following this change, a ‘check cashed’ memo will now only be posted to an account if a check is received with cash back given for the full amount of the check. This will be determined when tellers use the ‘post cash back’ button on the Funds In screen of Xpress Teller.
