Beginning Tuesday, October 10th, credit unions who use CO-OP as their card vendor will have the Automatic billing updater (ABU) option made available to activate. This feature allows you to attach a previous card number on file to a new card order so that auto-payments with merchants (such as Netflix) can continue to process using the new card number.
If you choose to activate this feature, when adding a new card in CU*BASE you will be required to either opt the member in or opt the member out from the automatic billing processing that will be sent to your card vendor. If you attempt to bypass this process, you will receive an error message and will be unable to continue until you have selected an option.
