The 23.12 CU*BASE release is arriving this weekend for Online and Site-Four credit unions – coming with it is a change to how CU FROM email addresses are configured in CU*BASE.
Prior to the 23.12 Release, credit unions could update their FROM: email addresses via Tool #233; that tool will be deactivated when you receive the release. Moving forward, any FROM: email address changes can be requested through the CU*Answers Store. This ensures that we are only allowing valid and properly configured email domains in CU*BASE. This is part of a series of steps that we are taking to support Google’s new email policies, which are set to be implemented on February 1st, 2024 (stay tuned for further details on what to expect with these changes, along with solutions available to your credit union).
