Don’t forget: tomorrow morning, we will be performing a Rollover for It’s Me 247 online/mobile banking (OLB) environments, as well as BizLink 247 online banking for business. The Rollover event is scheduled to begin at 5:00 AM ET (2:00 AM PT) on Wednesday, February 14th, with the rollback scheduled for 6:00 AM ET (3:00 AM PT). During this one-hour period, online and mobile banking will run live on servers at our secondary data center. This brief test will allow teams the time to test functionality of the online/mobile applications on the secondary servers and identify any issues to be resolved in an effort to maintain a high level of preparedness.
As a reminder, the online banking rollover is being performed in preparation for our upcoming HA Rollover, which is scheduled for Sunday, March 10th. We will be delivering more information relating to the HA Rollover in the weeks ahead, so keep an eye on your inbox.
The OLB Rollover is different from our CU*BASE HA Rollover in that it primarily involves a basic DNS change to point browser traffic to web servers at the secondary data center. As a result, any interruption will be very brief (approximately 5 minutes) for most users, and will not impact other CU*BASE applications. The Rollover will involve all credit unions within the cuasterisk.com network who use online and mobile banking provided by CU*Answers. This OLB Rollover test is performed on an annual basis with a report published shortly after the conclusion.
Please note: We will be posting any/all issues related to the Rollover event to the CU*BASE Alerts page, compiled into a single alert located here. We will not be sending out any emails regarding individual issues for the OLB Rollover. If you encounter any issues during or after the Rollover period, please refer to the CU*BASE Alerts page to see if it is currently a known issue.
