Now available for your review is a summary of the recent CU*Answers HA (high availability) rollover event performed March 10th to April 7th for the CU*BASE core processing environment. In this report, you will find details about the exercise, including challenges observed, lessons learned, and recommendations for improving the rollover process.
This rollover was conducted over a four-week period to accommodate multiple network and system maintenance projects, which included a one-hour power interruption at the production data center. To minimize impact to members, included in this process was a scheduled rollover for both online and mobile banking platforms to systems at the secondary data center.
