Let me introduce myself: my name is Lora O’Connor and I am the Assistant Manager of the Custom Services Development Team. I have been with our organization for almost 32 years and started when CU*Answers was known as WESCO – not too many of us O.G.s left! I have worked on everything from conversions to the online banking interface, CU*Answers item processing interfaces, and production center programming support.
My role as Assistant Manager of the Custom Services Development Team gives me the opportunity to share my years of experience in the credit union service organization. One of my main responsibilities is to make sure the vendor integrations that our team performs for clients are implemented smoothy and successfully. I also work to ensure that programmers are trained to understand the projects, policies and procedures of the Custom Services Development team – these include file transmissions, custom tools, one-time data floods and any other custom projects requested by our credit unions.
I am proud to be a member of the CU*Answers tribe, which has grown from approximately 40 employees in 1990 to more than 250 employees today.
