On May 21st, a project was implemented for a new cross-reference table which generates a Unique Membership Identifier (UMI) and stores this value in a database file. The cross-reference ID is generated based on account number and allows for ease of use for special reporting (query), as well as custom programs/third parties. Asterisk Intelligence is pleased to announce that we are offering FREE queries that can be used to perform reverse-lookups on the new UMI codes! With these queries, it will be possible for any credit union that uses the UMI codes in place of Account Bases in data transfers and analysis projects, to tie back any single (or multiple) UMI code(s) to the actual account base(s) they belong to.
