CBX is the long-term strategic new face and platform for our CU*BASE core processing software. We have brought the infrastructure you have grown to know and love into a web-based delivery, right in your browser window. This browser-based software is presented via a ‘single-page application’ (SPA); a website that instead of using multiple web pages, uses a single page that is updated by the server when a user interacts with it.
While we have many well used acronyms in our business, CBX is not short for anything. In fact, just the opposite – our goal is that CBX can show the long reaching impact that the future of this new platform can provide. CBX is the excitement of a known unknown, a future that that lays ahead awaiting our exploration. Like in algebra, we solve for X, and that is what CBX will do for our CUSO in the future; solve problems, open new doors, allow creative solutions for an ever-evolving technical landscape, and allow us the freedom to discover new horizons.
CBX is currently available to a select group of credit unions in the CU*Answers network, and will soon be widely available for credit union adoption in the Spring of 2025.
